I still can't believe anyone I'm related to actually watches American Idol...Shawntea loves it and "made" me watch it with her when she would spend the night with Brianna a few years back. I don't get it. Maybe I'm not sophisticated enough, or maybe I have an attitude problem.
We accidently got hooked this season (first viewing for us) after watching the auditions. Must not have been anything else on. It was fun to watch but I'm not the voting type viewer. I got bored near the end when only a few contestants were left and they had to sing multiple songs. I did really appreciate the fundraising effort for poverty issues that they did so well. I doubt I'll watch another season and I'm glad it is over. The contestants this year were cool. Mindless fun. Sometimes that is just what I need to fill the evening.
