Since No One Asked

Since no one asked, my entire school was on Blue yesterday when I showed up to check on things. For the uninformed, blue is good, the Holy Grail of school behavior. Considering the group, it is an unparalled achievement for which I take all the credit I am due, which is none. Thanks to the teacher, paraeducator, and a three day weekend is probably more likely.

Don't ask about today...

  1. You know. I was just sitting here in Charlottesville, VA wondering to myself--"is Beth's school on Blue?" Considering that it must be the Holy Grail of school behavior, and considering the group, Beth is due all the credit imaginable for such an accomplishment of grand scale. Now I am sitting here wondering if can be sustained. How will reach scale? But those are questions for another day as we are advised to not ask about today . . .

  2. Virginia is a good place for such thoughts...Asking about today is permisable, it is the expectation that today will outshine yesterday we are warned against...maybe. Today is today and tomorrow is tomorrow and yesterday is/was yesterday, that is all we can count on (or all on which we can count, who knows?)

  4. Blue is "General Risk of Terrorist Attack." Too many comments come to mind to sort them out right now. And Code Blue at a hospital is another matter altogether, I think. Doris? I can't take all my info straight from medical crisis shows on at 10pm. Anyway, blue, blue your school was blue (adapted from the song, "Love is Blue" --Instrumental version by Paul Mauriat was the # 12 song of the 1960-1969 rock era and was # 1 for 5 weeks in 1968. Always seemed silly to me. Maybe it was my age and lack of understanding of blue love.) Lovely. Blogging is so fun. I can ramble without seeing you all yawn and roll your eyes. Emotional safety and denial.

  5. I guess a "General Risk of Terrorist Attack" is quite possible considering my population.
