. . . but our relationships shouldn't change much.
"Once a cardinal, always a cardinal," but Glen says that college graduates don't go to high school reunions.
The graduation photo was taken just a few hours before I got this! (See previous post.)
I'm glad it's over!
By the way, Grandma and Grandpa Wilson, Aunt Lisa, and Uncle Brad, Aunt Becky, and MacKenzie (8-1/2 years old) were at Grandma Pete's house too.
What a great day, Daniel. I am proud of you. We all are. And, no, the relationships grow and deepen, but never really change.
ReplyDeleteJust to clarify, I said *I* never went to high school reunions. Seemed like those who were really into them had not gone on to college so high school was their biggest achievement. You can go if you want to. I am sure many college graduates do and will.
Fun to celebrate the good in life, and the good in your life.
ReplyDeleteDaniel, I graduated from several colleges and I went to one of my high school reunions. I went to three high schools and six colleges/universities so I now get a lot of mail asking me to send money or pay to attend alumni events. It was fun to go to my 20 year high school reunion. The three people I wanted most to see did attend. My reason for not going now is my graduation class only had the one reunion. I am not sure what that says about us or that reunion. Best wishes.
ReplyDeleteJust goes to show that I've never been invited to a high school reunion.
