is anyone else a bit unnerved by the exchange of violence between israel and the lebanese controlling party hezbollah?

  1. ". . .a bit unnerved. . ." nuanced understatement or the professional distance of a seasoned professional journalist?

  2. I wish I was. I am beginning to be come numb to the increase conflict. Violence begets more violence. The circle of death and distruction continues in the middle east.

  3. I've been buried in Tour de France like an ostrich with it's head in the sand, so I've not stayed informed on this situation. For starters, I am disturbed by it none the less because of the violence and because of the complicated world situation.

  4. Can't say unnerved, though in a vacuum that would be an appropriate reaction. Hard to know what's going to happen. Wish I could intervene as an elementary school teacher. Blow my whistle, send them to the principal to work it out. Too much at stake for both sides, though it does bring to mind the old movie about the babysitter and the quote, "Don't ---- with the babysitter." That can be applied, and I think rightly, though sadly, so with Israel. Don"t ---- with Israel. A reminder about Munich?
