35 votes were counted in our little non-scientific poll. All other votes were thrown out because of hanging chads or the fact that they just didn't please the counters in the back room. The two votes for Kirsten Gum are being contested. The supreme court may declare her the winner.

I didn't know that there that many readers or members of this family's blog. Did the dogs vote????
ReplyDeleteDogs may vote, if they want. Anyone can vote as often as they want to vote. You must wait 24 hours before voting again. But don't tell anyone.
ReplyDeleteYou don't have to be a blog member to vote. Since there have been more that 40 visitors to our site since Thursday (see the new counter at the bottom of the page) there might be any number of strangers voting here. I am still watching for a non-member to post a comment.
I did not vote in this category. If I were in a more exhausted state, I would question the validity of even asking such a question. More specifically, I could get into personal opinions of Armstrong and his personal choices...but I am really curious about the results of the poll asking where people would like to go in the world. My choice was Tuscany, though it only beat out France for the Tour de France because, hey, been there done that...:-) My dream now is a family vacation for Christmas, summer, whenever, where we get together out of the country and, well, whatever...Puerto Rico? Italy? Northern Europe? East L.A.??
ReplyDeleteYes, I know...Puerto Rico may technically not be "out of the country," but they do field their own Olympic teams...and it is warm on the beach at 11:00 at night...
ReplyDeleteIt would be interesting if someone used the above post to coment on Lance Armstrong's personal choices. Mr. Armstrong was not even on of the ballot of choices and he wasn't OLN on-air-staff.
ReplyDeleteAdditionally, Mr. Armstrong has already done quite a lot of introspection and self-criticism of his own choices and values in his recent book. It would just seem so redundant for someone to come along at this late stage as if they were saying something new.
