b'ball

I've been at all the King's playoff games in Sacramento. Game six was great for twenty minutes. San Antonio is a very good team. Right now the Lakers need a miracle in the fourth quarter. Nothing ever seems to impossible for them. Will see. Now that the Kings are out of it I will have more time on my hands. Time to clean the pool and put up Brianna's swing.

    Even though Mexico didn't play well at the Rose Bowl yestersday, the beat Venezuela 1-0, and they are off to the World Cup next in Germany.

    There are a variety of sports. I have fond memories of my time as a course marshall in the late sixties and early seventies. When I went to the US Grand Prix several years ago I found myself wanting to go back as a volunteer and work one of the corners, even if it was just waying the flags. I find that when I attend an event my interest picks up. If I go to a bike race I am more interested in cycling. If I go to a River Cats game I am more interested in baseball. There is something about seeing a sport in person. I appreciate when I have the time to do that.
