Fairhaven is on the south end of Bellingham Bay. Bellingham is half way between Seattle and Vancover, Canada. It is where my mother grew up. I lived there in several homes from second grade to fifth grade. If you drove down the street in the pictures you would be at the ferry terminal for the Alaska Ferry. It travels from Bellingham to Skagway up the inside passage. It and the local library were my havens.
