Homestead

Here is a photo my parents sent from the Remington family homestead in Ohio. Here is the cabin where my ancestors lived after moving as pioneers from Rhode Island in 1813. My parents were involved with others in placing a new bronze plaque at the site last week. The plaque listed the family members who lived here long ago. A nice connection to another age.

My mom is standing on the right. That ramp is of course a recent modification.
