Looking across the valley everything is white. It snowed all night. A nice two inches.
The feeder fish must be confused. Second snow and it is cold outside.
The snow is pretty. Beth's school is closed for a snow day and most of Steve' clients have cancelled. Kyle is still asleep. No chains for his van so he will be home. I might have to start a fire in the woodstove. Make hot chocolate.
I might have to go out for a bicycle ride before the rain comes again this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteGuess what it is snowing again this morning. Beth has gone off to school. No snow day today. Kyle doesn't have classes on Friday so he is still asleep. Hope Paul in aide gets here in one piece. He hates driving in the snow. I cleared off the driveway once but there is another inch of snow on it. I have the 4-wheel drive so if this keeps up I may have to trade cars with Beth. The snow is soft and crisp. Love it, but now off to work. I will see how many folks cancel today.
ReplyDeleteI again have snow envy. Love the photos. Can't believe the accumulation.
ReplyDeletetime for me, david and andrew to grab the sleds and head westward to the slope that once existed behind the house at 1587 country club. i remember the initial excitment, and the crossing of the fingers when we awoke to snowfall, hoping that a call would arrive announcing that school was cancelled that day. that was followed a few hours later by boredom, and damp trousers.
